2009 Bosnia, Herzegovina and Croatia (photo links now working, apologies) We visited Slovenia and Croatia in 2000, but at that time Bosnia-Herzegovina was inaccessible because we could not get vehicle or travel insurance, and the country was full of UN soldiers and humanitarian aid agencies. Finally BiH (Bosnia and Herzegovina) has become accessible to British travelers, although other Europeans have been going there for some years. We had no idea what to expect, but we were keen to find out. We spent longer in Croatia than we intended - there are some lovely coastal towns, and remote beaches with secluded coves, crystal clear water and sunshine Comments and queries are welcomed.
